Newsoundwales Top 50 albums of 2013

Every year we compile a list of our favourite albums, not necessarily the usual critics choices, but ones we have really enjoyed and returned to again and again. This year has been a fine one for Welsh music and it’s encouraging to see so many artists beginning to break through beyond Wales into the rest of the UK and beyond. We felt that “Rewind the film” is a stunning album that rewards repeated listening and represent a band developing and growing despite over 20 years of making music together and deserves its place at the top of our list.
