Sera – Rabbit Hole

There was a time when Welsh language singers switching into English was tricky to say the least. Thankfully these days artists such as Al Lewis can switch back and forth with apparent ease and at the same time take the audience with them. Sera is already well established on the Welsh language acoustic folk scene but this new track takes her into a more radio friendly acoustic pop field. Her voice is a strong and distinctive as ever, but working with producer Andi Bonsai has given Sera’s music a more commercial edge. Rabbit Hole is a fine track and wouldn’t seem out of place on adult contemporary radio stations alongside the likes of Sandi Thom or K T Tunstall.
