In the lead up to Green Man 2011 we thought we would bring you some new artists over the next few weeks who we think will be making a name for themselves during the 2011 festival season. Marcus Foster is not only an incredible musical talent, he is also an accomplished sculptor and also a long time friend of Robert Pattinson who recorded a song Foster co-wrote on the Twilight soundtrack. He possesses a world weary voice way beyond his years and is capable of writing songs that are emotional, authentic and is likely to cross genres and age groups. Signed to Communion the label run by Ben Lovett from Mumford & Sons his debut album " Nameless Path " is due out in August. If you like Tom Waits you are going to love Marcus Foster.
